Description
Oversized ten dollar bills were printed from 1861 to 1923. We call these bills oversized or large sized because they are bigger than currently circulated paper money. In 1928 money was changed to what we consider the standard size. Oversized ten dollar bills were issued as demand notes, interest bearing notes, legal tender and United States notes, silver certificates, treasury notes, national bank notes, gold certificates, and as federal reserve notes.Oversized ten dollar bills represent a fun opportunity to focus on a single denomination.
