Getting up before sunrise is well worth the trouble when ballooning weather is good. Drifting at low altitude with a mild morning wind, the balloonist gets a look at the world from an almost silent and totally unobstructed vantage point. Birds have been seen hitchhiking rides on the crown of the balloon. No other aircraft can make that statement. The card is in good condition, some dings, aging on the front & back, with wear on the corners.
