Menu is dated July 15m 1946- It seems they changed menus every week back then
Of note, this was newly post WW2 and there is a famine emergency on wheats fats and oils as stated in the menu and sadly while the US bounced back people were starving in Europe - it also says
. Also a "Cabaret Tax" which is interesting
My mother wrote in ink the date she ate at the restaurant and the name of her date "Edward" that took her there. I found a photo of her and Edward in Chicago during that summer that he took her to many restaurants.
In nice antique condition with one fold and a couple of very light coffee stains and soft corners.
